So many amazing things have been happening lately. Seem to have all started right after my time spent in Quesnel in Dec. 2017. While in Quesnel, I’d spent time with a friend in emotional distress. We spent hours together as I gently guided her towards centre with intentional breath and simple movement.
Afterwards she and I recognized the transformational power of this work. And, at the same time, I was transformed by realizing newly discovered capacities within myself.
So, upon returning home, I felt a strong calling to volunteer and to use my recently discovered ability to help others heal, through movement, breathwork and intention– qi gong.
It was only a few days later I noticed the posting seeking a volunteer to teach meditation for the West End Senior’s Network at Barclay Manor. That possibility felt right on.
Qi gong IS meditation in motion– so perfect! Not only the perfect alignment with what I wanted to do and contribute but also the perfect location, in a lovely heritage home just 3 blocks from home.
I simply chose my preferred day, time and start date and was ready to go.
Initially, a little bit scary, as it was a very big step for me to take, putting my new found self, out into the world.
But it all fell into place so effortlessly– obviously just meant to be!
