Saturday I ran into my neighbours in the hall.
They talked about how stressed and worried they’ve been, suffering from bad sleep, physical discomfort and pain.
So I offered to guide them through qigong yesterday afternoon for an hour in our common room. Others joined too.
While practicing Ocean Breathing towards the end, one participant fell asleep!
So, it seems she was able to let go and relax! (good thing she was sitting down while practicing!)
Wasn’t sure how everyone was feeling afterwards, as we all dispersed quickly. But later they said they’d found it very relaxing and beneficial.
I’m convinced, relaxing our bodies and releasing areas of tension, has a profound healing effect, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
